Whilst I was on holiday, a 2yo filly had sourced and bought for Team Valor after she had won her maiden, came out in a valuable nursery at Cork on Sunday. Carrying joint top weight, she came with a late surge and got up in the dying stages to win by a neck. A very good run considering that she was carryiong 8 pounds more than the 2nd and 13 or more pounds more than the 3rd.

On the strength of this win Team Valor and trainer Jessica Harrington are considering a tilt at the Gr 1 Moyglare Stakes at the Curragh on September 15th. A big rise in class, but this filly is still a bit green and the step up to a mile will definitely help./.
