Well it’s nearly the time to enter the new decade and to reflect on what has happened in 2019.
It’s been a great year for Gordian Troeller Bloodstock. We have had three GR 1 wins ( one in conjunction and collaboration with Meah Lloyd Bloodstock). TECHNICIAN won the Prix Royal Oak at Longchamp, followed swiftly by BELVOIR BAY winning the GR 1 Breeders Cup Turf sprint and yesterday LADY PRANCEALOT ( whom I helped negotiate the deal for) won the GR 1 American Oaks.
So all in all 2019 is going to be a hard act to follow, especially as we have been unable to buy as many horses as I would have liked , due to crazy prices and lack of availability. However we have the likes of SILENCE PLEASE and LOVEISTHEHIGHERLAW waiting in the wings and I hope that SPANISH MISSION will manage to win a Group 1 at some stage of the year.

The December sales were disappointing as we only managed to buy one filly. Prices were very high for what was on offer
Anyway, I want to finish off this news with a great big THANK YOU to all our clients and especially Barry and Kathleen Irwin of Team Vaqlor ( also Jessica Berry) and DERON PEARSON.
HAPPY NEW YEAR to all our clients and a special thank you to those trainers who have helped our purchases succeed during the course of this year
