AN INTERESTING TRIP

Last Sunday/Monday I made another one of the crazy trips to Europe which so often seem to be part of my life as an agent

Sunday morning I flew to Zagreb in Croatia and then drove to the stable of a Croation trainer to inspect a horse for a client. This trainer has had a varied and extremely interesting life story, having been a professional footballer, a succesful hotelier and winemaker and now a winning trainer.
After a very interesting lunch with a former Croatian ambassador to London and the head of the Croatian Horseracing body, I inspected the horse , took some photos and then drove through Croatia, Slovenia and Italy to Venice. Slightly rested the next day was a long drive through Italy to Pisa, where I inspected another three horses, and then it was backi to the UK arriving really late at night.
A mad expensive trip but one which looks like it has borne fruit.
I did have a superb lunch near Pisa in a village called Montecarlo in a reasturant called PierAntoinio I believe. If you are ever near Pisa go check this out. Really excellent food
