Yesterday WENT THE DAY WELL a colt I helped Team Valor buy, won a very decent maiden at Gulfstream Park.

Off a slow pace, but always thereabouts, Went the Day Well under a good ride, came around his rivals turning into the stretch and drew away from them in convincing style.  The race cannot have taken much out of him and it will be interesting to see where Team Valor send him next A son of Proud Citizen, he took to the dirt very well.

He is a powerfully made colt and will improve a lot for this win

Congratulations to all concerned...a longshot for the KY Derby?? well it's much too early to get that bullish, but who knows?
