Well , the promise of regular updates was shortlived.

I could blame Christmas and the New Year ( both western and chinese) but I would be hiding behind a screen. The truth is that not much is happening in the winter months.

However there are some updates worth noting

 

LUCKY CHAPPY ran a very decent 2nd ( to his stablemate) in the Kittens Joy Stakes at Gulfstream a week ago. He is a very decent colt, but at present just gives himself a little too much to do by 'falling' out of the gate and having to play catch up. There is reportedly a possibility he might go to Dubai for World Cup night and that would be very exciting

 

I bought a very nice horse called PRESS BARON for some US clients. He has only just started having workouts , but I think he could be a bit special. He has that 'presence' which makes him stand out  from the crowd.

 

I also sold TONES to the US and he is now with Doug O'Neill and will hopefully make his first North American start soon

 

My own filly NAUGHTICAL has run third again twice and is on the upgrade. She is progressing and will win a race or two, She is for sale cheaply if anyone wanted to buy a smallish but fairly progressive three year old.

 

I am currently in negotiation with a good friend and fellow bloodstock agent and we might well be forming a new and exciting partnership. Watch this space for further updates and an announcement.

 

HAs a nice winner in Hong Kong last week when a colt ( who was called Noonenose when he was trained here) won a decent handicap at Sha Tin and he has now more than paid for himself.

 

There is a one day sale at Tattersalls Newmarket tomorrow ( Thursday 2nd) but there is not much in the way of racing prospects so I will probably not be that busy.
