THREE SMASHING HORSES PURCHASED AT KEMPTON

Goffs 'Ready to Run' sale at Kempton has improved the quality of the horses on offer every year and 2011 was no exception.
There were some very nice horses there and a good crowd turned up to watch the 90 odd horses breeze on the polytrack.
Unlike in the USA, the times the horses breeze in is not that big an issue. There is no official clocking  which in my opnion is a good thing.
I picked up a very nice Singspiel fily ( in conjunction with Jamie Lloyd..who made a fleeting visit on Monday) . She will go to the USA, but I am not sure who her trainer will be. For the moment she is at John Hills' and she might stay in the UK to race a few times before going Stateside
I also bought wto smashing colts for a new client who races in  Ireland and Hong Kong. A very smart Amadeus Wolf colt was a well made scopey sort who looks quality and an El Prado colt who though still immature has great presence and breezed really nicely.
I look forward now to the Tattersalls and Doncaster Breeze Up Sales which take place over the next three weeks. Hopefully I can pick up a few more nice two year olds
