TECHNICIAN WINS GR 1
What a week its been and I have been forgetful. Before Belvoir Bay won the Breeders Cup Turf Sprint tonight we had a great result in Paris last Sunday when TECHNICIAN followed up his Gr 2 win with a hard fought victory in the Group 1 Prix Royal Oak over an extended 3000.meters.
Beautifully ridden by Pierre Charles Boudot, he was always in touch , occasionally needing to be pushed along. But in the straight the jockey got to work and Technician, ad usual, lowered his head lay his body down and won by a good 1 1/4 lengths.
