ANDINA AND SO BELLE which I found and bought in collaboration with Jamie Lloyd both did themselves proud in the last few days at Santa Anita.

SO BELLE was closing so fast that another step or two would have taken her past and into the winners enclosure but the wire came just too soon. I had been underbidder on this filly at the Doncaster Breeze Up sales last year and had thought she would turn out to be very useful. I was delighted when Jamie found a client for her in California

ANDINA was another gem picked out from the John Hills stable after she had been placed on her first start in the UK. She has now been Group 2 and Group 3 placed in the USA and looked to be coming back to her best form with her win last weekend.

 

There is quite a lot to look forward to in the next two weeks. On the 26th , GITANO HERNANDO will hopefully run a big race in the $ 10 million Dubai World Cup, CRIMSON CHINA makes his step up to Graded Stakes company in the Spiral Stakes. MAJOR ART, FIFTH DIMENSION and DR GREEN all run this Friday (* unfortunately in the same race). I can't wait to see EASY TICKET back on the track.
