This has been a good five days

On Saturday DEVANT came over from France and managed a very decent 3rd in the GR 3 Chartwell Fillies STakes ( Group 3) at Lingfield, not having that much luck in running. She now goes back to Alex Pantall to run in Europe for the forseable future. Well done to Team Valor, Henri Alex PAntall and Gerald Mosse.

ANd then today I AM MAGICAL a filly I bought quite cheaply at the Tattersalls December Sales last year won her 2nd start for Charlie Fellowes in great style. It might only have been a handicap, but she was in trouble between the 2 and 1 furlong markers but was produced with a late flourish and showed an excellent turn of foot to sweep past and win by a length. Great ride by Hayley Turner. I honestly thought she had no chance with 200 yards to go. It will be interesting to see where we can place her next. Delighted for Charlie and the owners , the trio of Deron Pearson, Paul Shanahan and M V Magnier
