A busy week with runners in the UK and in the USA.

A dissapointment when TECHNICIAN failed to run up to his usual standard in the Chester Vase. He finished a dsiappointing 5th . I think the race came too soon for him and he did not look happy from the moment the jockey got on him in the parade ring. Looked dull in his coat as well ( at least on TV).

Things began to look up on Friday when DOM CARLOS won on his 2nd US start. He won by a disqualification but was interfered with twice during the race, I think he will trun into a high class sprinter and should manage to win a Stakes race.

Thenb yesterday DEVANT ran at Lingfield on soft turf in the GR 3 Chartwell Fillies STakes. Taking on older fillies she ran really well and managed to finish 3rd even though the gaps kept closing on her. It will be interesting to see where she goes next.

A quiet week to come but lots of administrative things to keep me busy
