What a game filly and what a nail biting finish. For the 2nd time in two weeks Tale Untold finished 2nd beaten a nose in the $ 500,000 Tattersalls Million Sales race. Two strides past the line she was in front...it was just sooooooooo close

In a way getting beaten by such a small distance is worse than  getting beaten a length or so.

Still she has now earned nearly $ 140,000 for my client since I bought her for him, so he is happy. I am hoping that he and Richard Hannon will decide to run her in the Breeders Cup but it is  their decision.

I still cannot get over the disappointment of finishing 2nd but equally the elation that she ran such a fantastic race.

 

One GR 3 winner, one big Stakes 2nd and a Group 1 4th...not a bad haul for the weekend
