GITANO HERNANDO

There is an old horseman's adage that a bad horse will not hurt itself. Well the converse of this is that a really good horse is more prone to injury. And so it has been with GITANO HERNANDO.

Last year he sprained an ankle which meant he had to wait till his sensational win in the GR 1 Goodwood Handicap at Santa Anita to shine.
This year after the disappointment of the Dubai World Cup his career has again been put on temporary hold due to another niggling injury, which just needs some time.
Luckily he is now back in full training and will hopefully be able to explode on to the International stage again this Autumn
