Yesterday evening, a filly I bought a half share in for DP Racing won impressively in a 5 furlong allowance race . Called BEECHWOOD ELLA, she had won a race in the UK before being bought and sent over to the USA.  She ran first time in a Stakes race at Gulfstream which did not really work out , but yesterday brought back to 5 furlongs she was last turning for home, and then exploded in the straight to pass the others in a heartbeat a win going away by 2 1/4 lengths. There is surely more to come from her
