Well the fairly long drive up to Nottingham today paid dividends and made for a great day's racing
MIA TESORO who started off 2016 on a lowly rating of 57 and had been rejuventaed by Charlie Fellowes to win four races that year cam good in great style in the Listed Nottinghamshire Oaks today.
She had been placed twice in Listed races on the All Weather over the winter .
Under a superb ride from Stevie Donohoe and beautifully trained and turned out by Charlie she came with a strong late run to win by a nice 1/2 length.
I bought the dam for her breeder and current owner Deron Pearson. The dam Souter's Sister has a nice late blossoming Mastercraftsman 3yo, a cracking Nathaniel 2yo, a yearling by Australia, a foal by ZOffany and is now in foal to Postponed.

It was really uplifting to see all the hard work in planning and the superb training efrforts by Charlie Fellowes and his team rewarded today.
As to where we go next...there is a GR 3 on the polytraclk at Newcastle, but we will also look at other options.

Well done again to everyone concerned and especially Deron PEarson who has never lost faith in MIA TESORO and whose loyalt was well rewarded
