Saturday night in a race delayed by nearly half an hour by the Kentucky Derby , PURSUING THE DREAM went to post in the GR 3 Senorita Stakes on her 2nd US outing and her first attempt at a mile., Up with the leaders throughout she tired a little late in te straight but held on for 2nd, This was her first Group placing and with this run under her belt she shouldd be able to pick up a similar contest later this year
On Sunday on 1000 Guineas day at  Newmarket, MIA TESORO was contesting the GR 2 Dahlia Stakes in a big step up in class. Both I amd Charlie Fellowes thought we might have aimed her too high, but she ran exceptionally well and was only beaten the shortest of noses for 3rd Place. If she can reproduce this form she should pick up a Listed race at least and hopefully get a top 3 finish in a Group race later this year.
Overall not a 8 days.
