On the undercard of the first day of the Breeders Cup, BELVOIR BAY went to post in the Senator Ken Maddy Stakes GR 3 over 5 furlongs. I had been worried that the return to the minimum trip would not suit her, but under a great ride from Flavian Prat, she came around the final bend perfectly placed, surged through a small gap on the rail and then drew away to win a shade comfortably. 

THis was Belvoir Bay back at her best and I hope that she can now run up a sequence .

Huge credit also goes to trainer of the moment Peter Miller who had her in perfect condition. She looked a real picture.
