AMBOSELI, a Medaglia d'Oro filly that I was particularly keen on at the Deauville Breeding Stock sale in 2015, and whom we bought quite cheaply, ran a cracking race last night in the GR 2 Yellow Ribbon at Del Mar.

Victor Espinoza had her so far back in the first half of the race tat I though 'here we go ...no chance'. But she then  started to close and under a vigorous ride passed most of the field. She was only beaten less than a length. If she can reproduce that form again she should be able to pick up a Stakes race during the course of this year.
