BETTY DRAPER, a filly I bought at Arqana from the Godolphin/Darley consignment won a nice allowance race at Santa Anita on Thursday.

It was a pleasing win as she had an awful lot of ground to make up turning into the stretch, but managed ti close very strongly. Certainly looks like she can pick up some more races of this nature and maybe along the way get some valuable Black Typ0e.

It was a shame though that the previous weekend the really nice filly SPY RING which we bought at Tatteralls, did not manage to make the ct in the China Doll Stakes. Just needed one more scratch to get in, but it did not happen.

So all in all things are looking good with the fillies we bought for DP Racing and Jim Cassidy at the two December sales.

Tonight a filly who has been disappointing for Team Valor finally won at Gulfstream Park. NOt a great race at all but it makes HASSAH eligible for starter allowances, so fingers crossed she can put together a string of wins.
